In this activity we had a doc made for us that we had to make a copy of. the doc was named vocabulary sheet children's war. In this sheet you have to put words you didn't know for the story Children's war that we had to read.

PMI Cricket

 

On Tuesday  the 17th February Room 7 and 8 went to Arthur Fong park to play in a cricket tournament with two other schools. We left the school at quarter past 9 so we could get there in time to start in 20 or so minutes so we were ready to start the game against Grey Main (they smashed us).  After we started the game lasted for a couple of hours and finished our game and had something to eat. Next we played against another Karoro school team and unfortunately they won but at the start me and Shannon were the first batters and we had  solid go me and him alone getting 27 points for our team. note the fact the their team won with fifty points through their entire game so me and Shannon got half of the score alone. At the end of the day we went back to school on the bus in the afternoon and wrote the PMI above. Summing up my day and cricket overall I had an amazing time at the field but we didn't win our games which was a bummer but you can only improve :)
